Horizontal Directional Drilling is a trenchless technology that involves a precise three-step process:
Pilot Hole Creation
We carefully drill a pilot hole along a predetermined shallow underground arc to map the bore path.
Borehole Enlargement
A reamer enlarges the pilot hole to approximately 50% larger than the pipe diameter to ensure smooth pipe insertion.
Pipe Pullback & Fusion
Polyethylene pipes are fused together using heat to form seamless, crystalline joints that are as strong as or stronger than the pipe itself. The pipe is then pulled back through the enlarged borehole, completing the installation.
